Dadrock general? Been listening to my old 70's vinyl records. What's your favorite dad band? What's an underrated album that time forgot?
If by "dad band" you mean any rock band from the 70s I guess it's Genesis. I don't know how I feel about that image.
>Nirvana is dad rock now
Led Zeppelin is amazing, I don't give a fuck what you elitist faggots say. I wish I could find a contemporary band like them but it's pretty difficult.
Oh, and time didn't forget this album but I think /mu/ did.

Thin Lizzy
Love that shit

I don't really see it as an insult, just a funnier way of saying classic rock. They play Nirvana on the classic rock radio here.
Judas Priest
Black Sabbath
Neil Young
fuck yeah, das it mane

Yes, one of the most celebrated and fawned-over prog-rock album of all time is over-rated.

Look at the record sales of that album and compare it to anything by King Crimson or Pink Floyd and then come back.
>>61450815
i mean, hell, it was the theme song for The Exorcist
>>61450578
Quadrophenia.
>>61450815
apparently dark side of the moon had more sales, dad

Pic related, it's got Roger McGuinn singing and playing twelve-string, Mick Ronson producing and playing lead, with songs written by Bob Dylan and Joni Mitchell, all wrapped up in bitching cover art. Definitely a hidden gem here.
>>61450948
Yeah, Ana Dark Side is totally underrated
>>61450578
that is one ugly sonuvabitch
>>61450958
speaking of kickass albums that time forgot with bitching cover art featuring schooners, Sir Lord Baltimore.
who /self-titled/ here
>>61450572
King Crimson aren't really that big outside of /mu/. They have a big cult following but aren't really that mainstream.
>>61450996
I am intrigued, I'm not familiar with that artist or album.

you're not dadrock. i know you want to be like your father, but you don't even have harmonizing guitars and falsetto. just keep trying and come back when you can sing a few octaves higher

My favorite dad rock that my dad actually introduced me to is Genesis and Jean-Luc Ponty
>>61451193
no interest in singing that high. i'm probably more into jam than dad rock
>>61450990
That's considered a 10/10 in Britbongland.
