The Beatles album Revolver is the single most influential album of the last 60 years
It transformed them from a typical suit wearing "boy band" to the most dominant band so far in the entire music industry

Without this album the music we listen to now would be bland and boring shit much like Neutral Milk Hotel

Aeroplane sounds like a Beatles album though.

tell me im not the only one that finds john lennons face hilarious on this cover

he looks either cheeky and mischevious or suspicious and distrustful

he always looks smug

>most dominant band so far
>so far
as if music as a whole could ever again singlehandedly be transformed so enormously and rapidly in so few fell swoops

you had some pretty decent bait going until the NMH dig. too obvious, come again.

It's fact. Anyone who disagrees with their influence is either contrarian or too young to understand yet.

I know there's backlash against "le wrong generation" types, but I think as time moves on we will really look back at the 20th century as a second renaissance. The music from that century will never lose it's appeal because it was a true anomaly in human history.

20th century fetishism will never end, because the 20th century was an unparalleled time for the arts.

i feel like this is just a poorly constructed attempt to bash on neutral milk hotel.

actually i'm almost certain that's what this post is.

Bob Dylan was considerably more influential than The Beatles, partially because he influenced them.
