Fedoras actually have a range of musical preferences. There seems to be a split between the anachro-fedoras (the ones who want to LARP as guys from the 40's or 50's) and modernist fedoras who don't engage in that stuff.

Anachro-fedoras are the guys who get into Sinatra, big-band, Perry Como, Bing Crosby, and other pre-rock-era pop musicians. The Lawrence Welk show is a big influence on them.
