ok so i was a big into hip-hop in high school but got bored of it.
2005 was like the last year where i was a full time hip-hop head, but 3 of my favourite albums dropped that year:
Edan put out Beauty and the Beat
One Be Lo dropped S.O.N.O.G.R.A.M.
Common released Be
I even bought the dangerdoom album but that turned out to be a huge disappointment. lol it was the second last cd i ever bought....
recently Kendrick and Run The Jewels got me excited for hip-hop again and I've been going back and listening to some albums.

I really like this, the production is reminiscent of J Dilla and Phonte's raps are powerfully spoken in a way that just puts you in awe. At least, for me. I'm just sad that Little Brother isn't talked about much here.
