Why are bands like BVB so shitty and cringy?

They're not being marketed to you, they're for teenage girls form the early 00s.
Their image is so, so, so, so, so ridiculous. But their music is decent.
I'm more weirded out that bands consisting of men in their 20's are so commonly recognized as playing teenager music. I honestly don't get how that happens or how it works. All Time Low is grown ass men and yet it's well known that their music is mostly enjoyed by little girls, how does that happen??

I went to an All Time Low show with my girlfriend once. Scariest experience of my life. I was one of the only guys there and I was also the talles in the crowd and I'm only 6'. Anyway, tween girls with hormones are fucking crazy. Girls were fucking kicking and calling each other bitch. I has to physically pick my girlfriend up and move her cause some crazy chick wanted to fight her for being closer to the stage than her. It was just a huge venue full of pissed off lolis with their parents in the balcony texting.
My main issue is that the band egged it on. They totally play up the sex stuff. They encourage girls to throw bras on stage, they'd talk about having orgies with the crowd in bbq sauce after the show (We were in KC, famous bbq city), and the two main dudes in the band kissed eachother to get them all worked up. I just found it extremely uncomfortable because nearly every girl there was underaged.
