When you say _ I am perfect _, this can mean one of two things. 1.) Either you were perfect from birth and stayed perfect up until this moment. Or 2.) You are perfect in this moment, and either at some point were not or will not be in the future.
Supposing you were perfect since birth. You have changed since you were born. If you have changed, and somehow remained perfect all this time, then at each point in your life you have been no better and no worse than you were before.
Is it possible for some thing to change without becoming better or worse? Yes obviously, that's exactly what the perfect being is. But that tells us nothing so must think more.
