Really like the atmosphere and most of the instrumentation there. Only thing not working for me are the drums. Might have to give it another go, but I do feel it would benefit from either some much softer acoustic drums (probably played with brushes) or no percussion at all.
>>61319069
This is proper stuff. Not my style, but technically sound and good musicianship. I do really like the vocal harmonies and big-sounding atmosphere. And the longer tracks are nicely expansive.

I read the first reply and was really confused for a second because I barely even have any percussion in my music, but for the one song that does have some snare I actually thought that could have been a good point. Then I read the second reply and I'm thinking that's the one that was directed toward me and the other one was meant for someone else. Either way, thanks for the feedback!

Thoroughly loving this, the minimalistic approach is working out really nicely. Very nice musicianship without going overboard, and a good consistent production. Could use some electronics, if you'd press me for a comment.

Really like the atmospheric stuff on this (like the first 4 minutes of Don't Let Them Burn Out and the intro to Paralyzed) but I'm not really keen on the song progression and percussion choices. I'd pay good money for a dressed down, drone-based version of this. Btw, another band from Bratislava? Is that place a breeding ground for cool music or what?
>>61320334
Pretty solid vaporwave. Can't argue with that.
>>61320292
If you fix those vocals, or get a different vocalist, and up the vacuums in the guitars you have a straight up classic on your hands. I mean, I love MBV as well as something like Cloud Nothings and tracks like Spinning Crater and Piledriver immediately connect. I'll keep on the lookout for that next album you're referring to.

>Btw, another band from Bratislava? Is that place a breeding ground for cool music or what?'d press me for a comment.
We have a lot talented musicians here, but for some reason they stay pretty much local and have no ambitions to be known world wide.

Yo! I listened to the first 2 tracks yesterday. I dug the first one a lot, though I think the vocals could be a little more dynamic. The scond track had some good ideas, but I remember the drums being pretty wacky and that kinda threw me off. Ill give the whole thing a listen here in a little while.

I recorded all of the tracks on this album over the course of a month, it was an experiment where I wanted to make an album with a backround soundscape where each track cleanly segued into the next, like The Body Lovers.
I've had a very productive year, somehow over the course of 9 months I went from having only 6 songs and writer's block to writing at least 20-30 songs and only now have I seemed to have slowed down.

Well I can certainly see why you're into it, your stuff is some truly great drone ambient. Don't mind me downloading all your stuff, this is excellent. The scary notes in Another Place, Same Time around the 9-minute mark really remind me of Robert Fripp's "Gates of Paradise" and that's a comparison I've not yet drawn anywhere else.
>>61320914
Thanks man. I'll be checking out your stuff rightaway.
>>61322243
Oh man, this has so much potential, but right now I'm feeling you're not doing enough with it. There's really good bits but you're not diving deep enough yet, although I expect this is probably your first time handling the material. Explore it man, I want to hear more.
I'd love to get my hands on some of those cassettes though.

Hot dang, this thread already uncovered so much awesome, and it keeps on giving.
>>61322869
Amazing stuff. I checked out a couple of the releases and everything's right up my alley, dreamy slow moving scapes (I'd call it slowmocore but I won't). The second link is equally good, and of personal interest as I've graduated as a sound designer & composer, mainly for games. I'm interested, get in touch if you are.
>>61322895
Really nice drones there, might be a bit too noisy for me to passively listen but it's surely good for active listening. Third track of Heck is really my cup of tea, and has a very analogue feel to it. Not bad at all.
>>61323499
This is excellent stuff if only you'd fix the drums. Atmosphere is great, and it reminds me of Lifelover a lot. But those drums just kind of ruin it for me. If you ever need drums done, in a session or something, drop me a message. I've got a studio, a TD6 drumkit and can record pretty much anything.
This deserves better drums.
>>61323631
Good scapes. Not all instrumentation is to my liking but as a whole this really works well. Got quite a bit of dissonance going on, which I like.
