They're British. They spell everything wrong, and add the letter U where it doesn't belong.
Of course, that being said, this band has potential. I like the drummer's singing, and that guitar player who sings Don't Bother Me is punk as fuck. I suppose the other guitar player has potential, but there's something about the bass player I don't particularly like or trust.

The fact that so many books still name the Beatles as "the greatest or most significant or most influential" rock band ever only tells you how far rock music still is from becoming a serious art. Jazz critics have long recognized that the greatest jazz musicians of all times are Duke Ellington and John Coltrane, who were not the most famous or richest or best sellers of their times, let alone of all times. Classical critics rank the highly controversial Beethoven over classical musicians who were highly popular in courts around Europe. Rock critics are still blinded by commercial success. The Beatles sold more than anyone else (not true, by the way), therefore they must have been the greatest. Jazz critics grow up listening to a lot of jazz music of the past, classical critics grow up listening to a lot of classical music of the past. Rock critics are often totally ignorant of the rock music of the past, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that the Beatles did anything worthy of being saved.

Scaruffi is so out of touch. Beatles have UNIVERSAL acclaim from critics around the world, were and are popular with every age group.
If nothing they did was worth saving, than why are they in the national recording registry? Why have so many musicians have stated Beatles as one of their influences?
Why are there thousands of copies of Beatles sheet music of every song, every album?

They only receive universal acclaim because mainstream critics are to scared to voice dissent against a "prestigious" band like them sure i like them and they have some great stuff, but they are way overrated, Scaruffi provided an independent voice of dissent and people who act like that's not a good thing are circlejerking losers who couldn't form an independent opinion about music if they tried.
