I wish I had more to add, but I spent a long time listening to Atlas Sound's Bedroom Databank as well as all of the recordings shared on the Deerhunter website, and I'm blown away at Bradord's ability to create really beautiful music.

Some great anon shared all his blogs music the other day. His weekend ep is really cool. It's nice to see his songwriting in simple acoustic form

All Hail West Texas
The only actual solo Mountain Goats album, 100% recorded at home.
yo guys maybe you all know about this but if anybody out there is struggling to scrape up the cash for a decent mic/interface but happens to have an iPhone there's a great (free i think when i got it it was) app called Spire, made by izotope. basically it's a digital 4 track recorder and you can even email the stuff to yourself and edit it with software and im so so so glad I found it because it's been better than even my $150 (admittedly shit) mic and preamp setup. not too sure how well it would work for electric stuff/drumsets unfortunately though

You're the anon I was talking about earlier. Thanks from a few days ago for this share. I used to troll Bradfords blog but half the music wasn't on mediashare or whatever. His blog was awesome until he just stopped posting on it

Thanks for the share. R Stevie is great, especially the album that came after this with Cool Daddio. Ariel Pink is good too. I bought the doldrums last year and while I don't listen to it a lot he embodies home recording.
