I've been wondering, is there some experimental hip hop that is as "extreme" as Death Grips? I've already scratched the surface level of that genre, so I'm aware that Dalek, Cannibal Ox etc. exist.

Thanks, which album would you recommend as a starting point?
El-P is not as extreme as DG, but you should check out Fantastic Damage for some p. good industrial flavored hip hop

Already know about El-P but I haven't checked out this album. I'll give it a listen. Thanks

Thanks
>>61258456
why not just listen to fucking hardcore/punk/power violence/black metal
instead of pussyfooting around. dg isn't really hip hop at all. you already tapped out time to move on to the genres that stefan gets inspiration from

clipping can be pretty intense but not in the same way as Death Grips. Check out their album Midcity if you want more noisy and chaotic stuff, though CLPPNG is usually considered to be a better album by many.
Also, you might like Moodie Black and Shahmen if you like dälek.
Also, Food for Animals. Often missed.

Not really in the same way but some lines on this just get to me.
Also, Lil Ugly Mane. Not that similar but you should like at least a few tracks.
>>61258456
Not experimental but Memphis rap scene can get pretty extreme.
>>61258545
Yes, them too. They're kind of like clipping.

Some Ho99o9 tracks, but they're shit live
Some clipping. tracks, look for Knees on the Ground
desu nothing really levels with DG in the way I see them being 'extreme', there's no clone of the band

I don't like the comparisons like "Looped Death Grips".
NAH is really talented, not like those copycats that want to sound like Death Grips.
just listen to this:

Seen his guy perform a bunch of times here in Baltimore. He's like mc ride kinda. But instead of screaming about vague abstract bullshit he kinda goes in on white people and cops and shit. Like a death grips for people that aren't dedicated to being ironically cool. Think, a punk artist but with something tangible to actually be mad about other than "my mom not letting them play call of duty" or some shit.

this is garbage

OP, check out Genghis Tron, Iron Lung, and Dillinger Escape Plan if you haven't.
>>61258957
been following NAH since the start of the year. his stuff has been showing up more frequently here, and I really hope 2016 will be the year we see some more good shit from him.
>>61259580

>>61258468
