According to my will, my funeral be recorded, as well as the autopsy and the wake. I'll record my own suicide by gunshot as well. In addition, a microphone will be placed in my coffin to record the sounds of my decomposition.
Twenty five years later, all these recordings will be mixed into an album, beginning with the gunshot and ending with the ambient sounds of decomposition.
Thus the genre of funeral noise will be invented.

As someone who enjoys music more than the average person, which we all are, the funeral song you choose has a lot more importance than normal.
Do you choose your favourite track?
Something profoundly sad?
Is it something uplifting and bittersweet?
There are ambient tracks and minimalist pieces out there that would be brilliant funeral songs and, if they don't sum up my life, might some up somebody else's perfectly, but is it wanky to do so?
Do we just choose Amazing Grace and stop being pretentious?
Justin bieber - sorry

I think you mean funeral field. Funeral noise already exists as death industrial.
Animal Collective - Floridada
It would be a trilogy: Neutral Milk Hotel's Untitled track from Ptolemaic Terrascope, into Penny Arcade, and finally Pree-Sisters Swallowing a Donkeys Eye.
