Nah, because we can't pretend pure subjectivity exists. We also can't pretend pure objectivity exists. But by taking a look at craft, innovation, context, etc, we can get an idea of some kinda "objective" level of a work.
And that album really is just a sleepy indie rock album that's just a more boring bland version of what REM did minus all the fun or actual passion. You can like it fine, but really it's not a groundbreaking piece of music or anything like that

Eh, I felt some of the songs on Discovery, whilst not amazing, where still somewhat enjoyable. HAA just does not work at all so all you're left with is a shitty album that's just boring and repetitive all over, with some shameless plagiarism thrown in there for good measure.
