i can't even think of any australian music that i like outside of the drones and related projects like pic related

i listened to that hiatus kaiyote record and i really wish it had been instrumental, there was some instrumentation on it that sounded like it could have been really interesting but it was kinda hard to focus on because the vocalist's voice is so aggressively boring that it just makes my mind fall asleep

I can see where you're coming from with Hiatus Kaiyote. I was lucky enough to have them do a workshop at my university so I suppose the perspective of meeting them and seeing them play made me appreciate them way more.
