everyone thought 2015 was going to be amazing going by the releases that were announced, but those turned out to be disappointments. same will prob happen with 2016.

I think it will be more extreme and dramatic. The divide between great and terrible will be larger. I didn't give anything this year a perfect score, but nothing below a 3/10 as of yet (I haven't heard the new Kid Cudi album yet so we'll see if that holds). I bet next year will offer a few 1/10s and 10/10s.

There were a lot of albums that came out this year that I was looking forward too, but there were only I few I go back and listen to. I thought a lot of albums that came out this year were disappointing. I'm looking forward to David Bowie's, Savages' and M83's albums coming out, but we'll see how they turn out.
I hope there are more good rock albums, everyone's top albums of 2015 these days are either hip hop or some other not-rock for some reason.

David Bowie has always been influenced by Scott Walker, you can hear it on Wild Eyed Boy from Space Oddity. Also, David Bowie was not influenced by the Talking Heads for Low. He was influenced by Brian Eno, Kraftwerk, NEU!, and numerous krautrock albums.
