Hey /mu/, what are some nice, quiet ambient albums? I'm tired of listening to pic related or Eno's music for bus shelters and whatnot when studying in the middle of the night.
Kind of Blue is my go to study album.

I'M IN A SCARY CAVE WITH BATS
but anyway, you might want to try some of these:
>Mort Garson - Plantasia
>Devin Townsend Project - Ghost
>Michael Hoenig - Departure from the Northern Wasteland
>Mark Hollis - s/t
They're not all ambient per se, but they all have mostly quiet relaxing moods and I've found them all very useful for studying to.

Stars of the Lid
A winged Victory for the Sullen
Ian William Craig
Secret Pyramid
This is kinda bottom of the barrel, but if you get desperate, you could always put on slowed versions of songs.
Like, for example, there's actually a version of a track from the album you posted on yt, OP. Just search "stone out of focus". A good hour or two of ambience
the second disc of pic related

william basinski // watermusic II (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pX_jySkFIK4) is usually my go to study music. disintegration loops is pretty good too if you like basinski.
i find a lot of erstwhile releases are great for transit as well especially parazoan mapping (https://soundcloud.com/tigerlily-19/sets/eric-la-casa-and-taku-unami-parazoan-mapping) - also probably my favorite album release this year.
what about feldman? piano, violin, viola, cello: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JtFbOFHVL1U

Massaging your prostate while listening to music is acceptable because it elevates your senses so you can appreciate music better.

I like 2814's new album a lot but I get it if that's not your taste.
I'd recommend Lusine. He has a lot of great songs and Waiting Room is probably on of my favourite albums.

dunno if you've seen director Chris Morris' Jam TV and radio show, but the soundtracks includes ambient artists and tracks along the lines of RDJ & Eno (both whose music also features frequently)
