Imo Rollins has an intense fear of being humiliated, and being in the company of someone he admired jacked up that fear to autistic levels that made him paranoid. No, it was a very real and very intense thing here in many parts of the US. In Southern California alone the punk scene was way more scary that it it ever was in the UK as far as police harassment. The Nazi skins took influence from the National Front but in some areas they were scarily violent in ways you didn't have to worry about over there since you don't have much in the way of gunplay to worry about..

I think it was Bandura who published some really popular studies on how violence in the home leads to belligerent behavior. I've had my bouts with that, but I'm also regarded as a nice person by everyone I know.
