I like the floating Mothersbaughs in the Synthpunk category.
>>61037466
i like the ghost shaped gothic rock section too
>>61034818
I really hate the term post punk revival because then it just sounds like a genre that is just living in the past instead using it to be something new and creative.

>living in the past instead using it to be something new and creative.
That's pretty much what post-punk revival is. The original post-punk scene was all about pushing forward and trying new things, post-punk revival is a bunch of hacks trying to sound like either Joy Division or Gang of Four.
Who here loves PiL?
Is there any good Krautrock-influenced post-punk with electronic instrumentation that isn't edgy 3spooky5u shit like PiL or This Heat (disclaimer: I like both of these bands), but isn't poppy New Wave faggotry either?

there is a lot of overlapping

>>61041106
True but goth has a specific sound.
It's like calling Aphex Twin techno.
>>61036720
Not listened to this, assumed it was electronic for some reason lol
>>61041025
Yes, 100%, saw them live last week, life changing
>>61041164

Me. Metal Box is such a fun record. Really showed me the lighter side of post-punk when I was just getting into the genre.
