Listened to this again. The tunes are actually solid desu. If you're not an elitist then you should be able to look past the 3-hour jazz summation and enjoy the melodies and occasional soloing this album offers.
The problem is this record is actually not pretentious, just long. If you approach this record without a negative bias there are things to enjoy.

As someone who owns that album, it's more like trashy entertainment than actually good music, though the dame could be said for most of MSI's material in spite of their raw talent. The closest thing to sincerely good music they've made is probably You'll Rebel To Anything.
