Op, there are two different ways to listen to Bowie.
The first is to listen to everything he did between 1970-1983 in any order you want, though I would recommend starting with either Ziggy, Station To Station or Low.
The second version, is to listen to everything he did in that time period chronologically to really understand the scope of how his music changed and progressed.
You can skip the album "Pinups." It's a cover album and not good. Everything else from that time period is essential.
