Fantano was never great. He's always been an ok critic and /mu/ knows. He just reached such a memetic status because of all the shitposting that now everyone equates him to Reddit or some other shithole.

Every sentence that comes from his mouth seems to fail more than the previous at actually describing the album, since it is focused on some rating system, like Christgau, whom I despise.
He blabs some bullshit about sounds, an emotional reaction, compares it to a previous album or an album by someone else, and drops a number on it like that means something.
