I think that would make how they went out a bit less badass. They were at their peak, felt like they were going to lose control over their "business", so they announce they're breaking up, smash all their shit at their last show, release what's considered their best album then never play together again. It's basically how every punk band with anti-establishment views should go out. A reunion cash-in would fly in the face of that.
