SD Laika really didn't grab me like the rest of B&B
Popol Vuh is nice though
Tom is always good
>>60956837
do you like Laurie Anderson
>>60956849
Quick google, never heard of her 2bh.
She has a few albums, which is a good starter?

Pretty good last 7 days, a few of my favorite albums are there. Did you like the marble index and desertshore? i think those are kinda underrated around here
>>60956876
I've only heard bright red but it's pretty crazy

never listened to anything on yours but I think the Laurie Anderson record most start with is Big Science
>>60956910
Yeah I actually am digging them pretty well, I dig the droniness but I also like the fact that the music seems to just exist in a "space" rather than being strictly defined by a constant time signature meter
It hasn't especially compelled me to a noteworthy point but I to intend to continue listening to it a bit
>>60956837
>B&B
sorry,what's this?
I'm obviously not especially versed in a lot of 'electronic' (for lack of knowledge of a better term) kinds of music but what I like specifically about this one album by Sd Laika is just how unique it sounds. Like do you have any idea how he even made the music? It almost sounds more physical than electronic honestly.
>>60957310
thanks, will check it out
>>60957379
It was the old dance music group like /bleep/ on last.fm before CBS went and screwed everything up.

I see a lot of asian music so I'm gonna recommend Okkyung Lee just for that reason (because she's some kinda Asian)
>>60958598
thanks for the rec
I haven't listened to anything on yours
Am I the only one who doesn't try to listen to obscure music? OP is the only one where I can recognize more than a couple albums.
>>60958845
Obscurity is relative.
>>60958845
I try to find new music and sometimes the only way to do that is to go a little more obscure, but I don't actively search it out just for its obscurity.
>>60958845
I've never heard of afterimage, Morcheeba, EMF, Chairlift, The Future Sugar or Jesus Jones.
>>60958867
I mean like when I look for music it's usually stuff I've heard someone else mention before or there's some tangential but still relevant connection to an artist I'm already familiar with. It seems like it takes a lot of effort to find music nobody else is talking about. I never know how to start.
>>60958902
Again, relative.
There is lots of music never mentioned on the main board but go into various generals and they'll be the norm. Its all about who you are talking to.
One anons obscure artist is anothers babbies first.
>>60958902
well it just happens naturally
it's the logical progression for someone seeking novelty
you don't want to force it
