The record store I frequent now has a larger cassette section. Though I do miss cassettes, I would not pay $10 for one now.

Possibly my favourite cassette label. Based in Melbourne, Australia. They put out shoegaze, ambient, vaporwave, house, indie rock kinda stuff and always have great covers

Discogs, most of the newer tapes I bought cost only about $3 each on average and don't exist on vinyl or cd. Sometimes from bandcamp, like this is a good label with nice looking designs/ pro printed tapes/ inserts good experimental music and good prices.

in my recent ventures into cassettes i noticed people will buy anything. i've had 4 releases this year and i am completely sold out. i am not even that great. i only made like 20 or so tapes of each release and now i just have my own personal copies
