i like sigur ros, olafur arnalds, fishmans, emily moore, luciano cilio. stuff that doesn't demand much of your attention.
also i remember reading somewhere that if you put music on that you can understand the words to, part of your brain will subconsciously be focussed on interpreting the lyrics. so i try to use instrumental music or music in languages i don't speak.
so music for after you've studied or music for studying posts?
post-rock in general
These New Puritans - Field of Reeds
Southpacific - Constance
Electro Group - Good Technology
Yo La Tengo - Painful
Stereolab - Transient Noise Bursts

i think op means "post music to listen to while you study", not "music for post-study"
I like to study to Dopesmoker because it makes me lose all sense of time, and just grind things out.

Really any Mountain Goats release but it worked well for me.
It depends on taste and how music affects your focus sadly. I'm a brass player who has listened to craptons of atonal music so I can could probably study efficiently with this bullshit on repeat:

You best bet is probably a Wagner opera (tannhauser is sweet and accessible) or a nice mozart opera (like the magic flute.) There is generally a lot of variation between opera productions, so try to get one with a name like Solti, Abaddo, or Kleiber on it.
I know /mu/ doesn't always like vaporwave, but I used to study to this.

what do you mean? listen to music while you study or music when you're supposed to study but instead your listening to music instead of studying?

Split your focus for the sake of your sanity by studying with background music. ;_;
Literally anything with intelligible vocals is the wrong choice.
