Meh, I thought Eric's drums were totally out of character in context of their discography. Sin's a decent song but Piece of Pie is better. More triumphant sounding. I don't hate Core but I think it's STP's weakest before the s/t.

Is that your track ranking? Sex Type Thing is their worst single, should definitely be lowest before the 90 second songs and Naked Sunday. Where the River Goes is decent but it overstays its welcome after 5 minutes. There is no reason for it to be so long. I like all the other songs.

Overall STP. Core wasn;t even their best shit. Still Remains, Silvergun Superman off of Purple, much of Tiny Music, Sour Girl, Atlanta, I Got You and Glide off of No.4, much of Shangri La Dee Da especially It's Late, are all better overall than what VR put out. The self titled STP was shit though except for Maver and one other song on there that I don't recall.

Contraband is a pretty consistent album honestly. Nothing really noteworthy other than a couple badass singles and touching ballads. You Got No Right is my favorite vocal performance on the album.
