No, I agree. His content used to be a lot sharper, now it just seems like he's not as hungry. He had to try and make sure every video was quality because his viewerbase was so small. Now that he's over half a million he's grown careless. Plus, he's been doing it for over five years now, so he's bound to get a little bored of it. There is only so much you can do in front of a camera talking about music. Of course he could be making better videos, and hopefully someone (if not him) can take the reigns and make YouTube criticism fun again. But he also has been strecting himself with these podcasts/second channel reviews and shitposts/ running his website and other social media accounts. So to that degree I understand why he's not slaying it anymore, but I still think he could use some motivation. Maybe a YouTube convention?

he does what he does well, there are plenty other youtubers to flock to for edgy memes and fun youtube criticism. he never had to be hilarious but there were benefits to tailoring content to his niche audience and now that his audience is bigger there isn't much benefit in doing that. so yeah i agree with you but i also don't think he has to or should change back to how he was before because it will add very little to the quality of his videos for very few people kinda thing.
