I'm sorry to hear that. My dog was recently put down as well. His name was Bowie, because he had two different eye colors, like the singer David Bowie. The music of Nick Drake and Johnny Cash helped me the most.

I always thought "Absent Friend" by Bark Psychosis was about a lost dog. That song makes me feel all of the feels. All of that album fits, really.
