It's got some cool songs but a lot of the people listen to it and think it's experiemntal when it's not

I loved it on the first few listens, kind of annoys me now, 3
anywhere from 2 to 3 out of 5. It's got a lot of good music, but there's so much filler and I cannot stand their vocalist's simpering voice.
Let's be real, if I wanted to listen to music like this I'd listen to sensitive English kids play Radiohead covers.

It's catchy while keeping things interesting
2.5, would be a 3 but his voice is so irritating, took me ages to make myself find it acceptable because I thought the music was alright.
3 because i like odd numbers and 1 is too low and 5 is too high

4/5 Alt-J is one of my favorite bands, and I much prefer this over This Is All Yours. the meme vocals are what do it for me, they are just so pleasant to listen to

like a high 3, it's really fun, really interesting to listen to but I listened to it before I entertained myself with music more and more and realised it's kinda boring. Still a good listen anyway shouldn't be hated on cos it's popular now.

4, songwriting with a lot of pop appeal, but simultaneously sparking the same thing peaches en regalia zappa does for me. Lots of personality, variety and surprisingly humorous.
Their second record really confirms the importance of personality in their music.
