Also, right side is pretty bad for Symphonic Prog standards. Camel, Fragile, Phideaux, Anglagard, and Bacamarte aren't really remarcably good. I like those albums, and a lot, but I just wanted to express this opinion.

There are a lot of underage people on /mu/ and that exposes them to a lot of obscure bands.
It creates this weird disparity where they're listening to a bunch of Magma and Ornette Coleman but they know very little about music and don't have any of the context to know what they're hearing. They just know it's weird.
That's why mallgoths are also usually clueless.
