I actually know what he's up to these days.
So I was at Pitchfork Paris Festival (go figure) this year and whilst I was pre-drinking I flicked on the telly for some of that weird ass French TV shit. I put the music channels and it was mainly pop/RnB/hip hop-lite kind of shit that's big everywhere. Except sung in French.
Anyway, another pop song comes on and its pretty identical to the rest of them until I hear a familiar voice. I look up and lo & behold its Fields of Gold singer Sting. With a shitty beard. Driving in some car.
The music video was like part advert, part song, part Bond tribute.
Overall, 4/10.
But yeah, that's what Sting is up to at the moment.
