I need a washing machine reissue, copies are so expensive. SY records in general are crazy expensive if they aren't on their website. DDN gets reissued every year but not Sister or NYC?

I always thought of Sister as more of a cassette tape album.

Also, I never understood the love for Washing Machine. I think it's one of their most underwhelming albums, excluding Diamond Sea of course.

It's the culmination of all of their 90s records up to that point, and much better. It does pop/alt rock better than Goo and Dirty, and experimental better than Experimental Jet Set, Trash & No Star.

I used to think it was overrated too, then I listened to it front to back a few more times. Definitely one of their best.

I managed to get a copy of EVOL when I entered a record store on a whim. New vinyl.

It really is the best version of the album. No shitty Bubblegum, extended groove to end Expressway in the best way possible.
