It pretty cool.
I enjoyed it. I like how it is a bit closer to the mainstream than other Aphex Twin albums.
Not his best
was pretty necessary considering the void between significant aphex twin releases. hope he stretches his limits to places I cannot fathom on the next one.
SAW 85-92 is really the only aphex twin album i like, didn't like SAW II or RDJ, does he have anything else similar to 85-92?
Kind of just "okay." Not bad by any means, but I have no idea why the music press went so wild for it.

I love the way most of the tracks are pretty structureless and constantly evolving.

It's weird... I don't particularly enjoy Richard's music like I do with other artists. it just sort of exists like a statue in the middle of nowhere that I have to pay the occasional pilgrimage to. I wonder if he will ever dj somewhere under another alias...

Not that anon, but for me it's just that I cannot fully connect with his work whatsoever, even if I like it on a base level.
A lot of Syro tracks start off strong, but just don't develop into anything interesting like I'd expect from the man.
Most fans enjoyed it, but it leaves you a bit unsatisfied.

I love it, personally. It doesn't sound like anything he's ever really done, but it's all so obviously Aphex at the same time. Maybe it's not as good as his earlier work, but it felt like the beginning of an Aphex Twin 2.0. All about it.
