I have the vinyl version and the digital/cd version and it's its much nicer. The CD version is the two tracks improved upon and it also includes beautiful 30 min closer. The digital is what the original was supposed to sound like

Interestingly enough this is also one I saw occasionally posted about like a year ago when I decided to start going on /mu/ more often. It was only after Last.fm suggested it that I gave it a listen.
I think it just might be my favorite album now. The booklet that goes with it just further helped that along.

weed and music go together really well for me. I find it lets me "get" a piece of music in a different way, like I am able to listen deeper. I latch onto rhythms more easily, appreciate the textures in a more "three dimensional" way, sometimes makes it irresistible to sing/dance along to what you're listening to as well. Would recommend.

For me, it's music that sounds powerful. It is meant to be played at higher volumes, but there's an intensity to most of it, even the lighter stuff that feels like there's almost something greater behind it. Some kind of power that's difficult to describe. Their early stuff is suitably notorious, but beyond that they're just not something you see every day.
Nothing that's tried to be like them has really gotten to the quality they have.

The CD version is 30 minutes longer and some of it was re-recorded with better instrumentation and the entire flow of the album has been rearranged.
I like both but they're quite a bit different.
Also its not really rare I bought the vinyl with all the prints inside and the penny at Urban Outfitters for $20.
