punk is scary....

yep, now, back then, and in the future inch'allah
Is there a better glam-punk album than Generation Terrorists? Why is it so fucking good?
>>60656542
I'll have to look those up
Redd Kross are the high water mark for me
the truest "glam punk" band is probably D Generation, and they had some nice stuff, though they definitely had some cringe moments as well

Chainsaw Kittens and Redd Kross sound pretty good. D Generation sounded like scene pop-punk though, is all their stuff like that? Thanks for the recs!

Love Shudder to Think, Pony Express Record is one of the most underrated album of the 90's imo that shit is GOAT
>>60656689
fior D Generation, unfortunately yeah - they were very much of the Green Day/NOFX scene
glad you liked the others!
For some context, Redd Kross started off in the early LA punk scene, but developed into an 80s "alternative" band, and now one member is in the hardcore band OFF!
Shudder to Think was one of the Dischord post-hardcore bands, and they were the major influence for Sunny Day Real Estate

definitely! Note that I made the post below yours before seeing this post
Oh, goody. Another thread for people to argue about what is and isn't "Punk".

There isn't a single post like that so far. You didn't even read the thread.
Who /D.I.R.T./ in here!?
>posts about red kross
I like this. I prefer their full on pop stuff though
