I would look into any of the jungle and the two-step that Tom was likely pulling from at the time, but in terms of glitchiness and raw spastic energy, few things at the time (or afterwards) came close to Go! Plastic IMO. Still, worth a shot

Well, a lot of breakcore shares the general similarities, but the surreal and psychedelic atmosphere on Go! Plastic is something not often found in breakcore as whole
