let's do one of these.
picture very related.
Hey, look! It's the best Spiritual Jazz album ever made!
>the nipple gong
What did they mean by this? Tittyslap?
woah so randum xDD
>>60652855
How is that album random? It's just rock music with some chinese instruments.
>>60652934
cultural appropriation is le random and quirky xDD
>>60652762
Friendly reminder that s/t is the superior album
>>60652934
>chinese
>>60652882
loving this so far, thanks for the rec
>>60652762
boring shite tbqh
>>60653548
neat album cover.
gonna listen to it.
Prime victim of "any lesser known band has only one worthwhile album, and it's their debut" syndrome.
>>60653569
Neat, the title is Déficit des années antérieures - Les Ambulants for anyone interested. It's pretty nifty semi-industrial post-punk.
Fucking any Pram album apart from the Stars, and barely even that. I fucking love this band to shit and I've never had an actual discussion about them, closest I ever get was like two people agreeing that they're good.
>>60653572
Truth. Both their albums are stellar

>>60653730
tell me about 'em, anon.
>>60653770
Yeah I really like this album but don't think it's 10/10. It's a bit too lightweight and quirky I think. Good though
>>60653799
Oh I didn't even notice the 10/10 requirement in the op
Just meant to post a lesser known good album
>>60653730
theyre good
>>60653730
Fucking excellent album
Also, Roy Montgomery's Temple IV, never see anyone discussing his work
This thread will die before a 10 is ever posted
>>60653990
nice contribution
>>60653893
8/10 to be quite honest
>>60653776
They make really comfy music using odd instruments or just everyday stuff. Does a lot of genre hopping, so they're a bit difficult to categorize. Their earlier stuff is regarded as first wave post-rock, but they quickly moved on to a sound that could probably be described as dream pop, but that's only half true. Constant red line is a jazz influence, though.
Your typical Pram album will have both catchy songs and cool little instrumentals that sometimes go into pretty deep areas of like field recordings and shit.
There's a strong sense for themes and atmosphere, often inspired by nostalgic children's fiction. You always get a clear sense of setting for every song and album.
I'd say it's like pop for people who like strange sounds.

But Red was posted here >>60653937

I really love Macha but I agree with >>60653082.
Why isn't this more well-known here?
By the talented half of Wire, just one year after 154. Continues right where they left off and heads deeper into the experimental stuff.
I never see people talk about this in any of the countless post-punk threads, or any other Dome record for that matter.

Point me to the fucking Pram threads, m8. If you find one in the archive I guarantee half of it is just me samefagging to desperately reel people in.
theres so much music being put out now that a lot of the true 10/10 will never be heard by lots of people
>>60653979
roy montgomery has released so much good work and worked with stellar muscians, it almost baffles me that he's not mentioned at all. i think i've seen him once here and it was in a fucking scaruffi thread of all places. very underrated, atmospheric guitarist and overall musician
>>60656742
Shilling this thread and the sharethread baka senpai.
But I like the music.
>>60653548
holy shit thank you
>>60655799
