Xerox and nintendo blood are great tracks
I liked it although the album's entirety obviously couldn't hold up the quality mark Human Sadness established.
I also dislike The Strokes, so the fact that I enjoyed this was surprising.

I disagree. Johan Von Bronx, Where No Eagles Fly and Crunch Punch are all great songs. Human Sadness is definitely still the peak but I think you're exaggerating its importance.

Where No Eagles Fly is ok but everything afterwards just gets mundane to me. I do dig Nintendo Blood just a bit but the weight of Human Sadness is huge in my eyes.
Oh and a thing I didn't mention. Human Sadness is absolutely horrendous live.

everyone hated it aside from Human Sadness. It's my 2014 aoty though.
human sadness is really something else, but dare i care, father electricity, where no eagles fly, johan von bronx, crunch punch and nintendo blood easily makes this album a 9/10
