Man oh man oh man, I could write an essay on this album. The self-realization of the protagonist's identity throughout the album, the progression of his sexual relationships from young innocent to wild then settling into maturity, the way kanye made the album play like a Greek epic while still having insane features (Nicki Minaj's best verse of her career, RZA on So Appalled, Rick Ross on Devil in a New Dress). The timing of this album drop too, after receiving hate for his barrier pushing sound in his previous album, showing everyone who doubted him that he still got some of the best production skills in the game. MBDTF gets a 11/10 in my book, wonderful piece.
Epic post my man, I'm glad to see this get so many upvotes here on Reddit.

I don't disagree with this
>>60621459

>>60621853

>implying an album can be "best"
his albums are different, nobody can pinpoint a best by kanye because it doesn't really make sense to compare the college dropout trilogy with this, 808s, or yeezus
i'd say itd be a fair comparison to pick a best of his first 3 though
>>60621958
it's not a trilogy musically, only in the themes he talks about
>>60621459
based pastabro
>>60621969
the first three are definitely similar musically, at least moreso than his other albums
>>60621459
I hope this isn't pasta, because I continually get amazed with this album despite listening to it about 150+ times.

no it isnt senpai
As much as I like this album I feel that half the songs just drag on for too long.
The album is "okay"
