I agree with the silent hill 2 ost and your opinion on promise too. In fact I think all silent hill soundtracks are good.
Depending on the rip, read dead redemption has it's great moments.
The elder scrolls oblivion,
Castlevania symphony of the night, specially "dance of pales", absolutely great.
My favourite of all time however is Vampire the Masquerade bloodlines. I fucking love it and always feels me with nostalgia. I've been listening to "the deb of night" for years now.

Gustavo Santaolalla is brilliant. His work for pic related and 21 Grams are also god tier.
PAYDAY 2 may've turned into shit, but the OST is still really fucking good.
Aaand of course Hotline Miami 1 & 2. They are brilliant
