You gotta admit 88-90 was a great renaissance though, Brent really tuned in with the rest of them and brought it all together. Alpine Valley 89 is one of my favorite runs

It wasn't bad. Jerry never got back to the level he reached in the early 70s. Brent wasn't bad, I liked his B3 organ, but his cheesy keyboard sounds in the late 80s, early 90s are pretty bad.

69 and 70 are my favorite years I think, although I agree with >>60605115, I also really like a lot of side projects jerry did post-coma. Shady Grove is one of my favorite albums of all time.
