can anyone recommend more like this?

thanks anon, though I've heard this before, didn't enjoy it as much as first utterance

>Broselmaschine - s/t
Though it's more rooted in melancholy than comus' insanity
>>60603933
I'll check it out man, thanks
I've seen this bandcamp album being compared to comus, though i'm not sure about it myself

>love First Utterance and Exuma
>tfw they will always be the go to recommendation for each other, resulting in never actually discovering new and obscure freak folk
>>60604510
I'll check it.

Try these ones:
Paavoharju - Yhä Hämärää (one quieter)
Harappian Night Recordings - Non Euclidean Elucidation of Shamanic Ecstasies (one noisier)
>>60604511
then it's up to the listener's to make new freak folk.
there's lot's of great prog-folk but it's not really like comus or exuma.
My personal favourite band is Gryphon, but's that's not really comparable.
also good:
>The strawbs - just a collection of antiques and curios
Featuring a young rick wakeman killing it on the organ.
>Roy harper - Stormcock
Early music albums from the Unicorn Ensemble kinda hit the same spot for me
Definitely pic related

CRUMBS - Hallow Tongue and The Trees Community - The Christ Tree also have a similar style and would likely be of interest to you.
