ITT we post what we're listening to right now.
okay i did that
now what
Bruce Springsteen - Born to Run (2009 Japan Remaster versus 2010 Sony Music USA Remaster) both at repeat. Comparing which sounds better, so far my brain tells me the Japanese version is brickwalled as hell. Sad to see Japanese technology dwelding, back in the 80's and before, Japanese pressings are the go-to for their superior sounds, now its compressed as fuck.

It's a grower for sure.
Some real beautiful stuff on this album.
the sound of sleeping
I'm listening to the beat of the wardrums right now
>>60587071
Haven't listened to it yet, currently on my list though, since I refuse to only listen to a few songs off it if it's my first go
I am listening to a thoroughly nuanced and informative review.

Yeah, it really needs a full straight-through listen. I don't fully understand why they reversed it in the release, but the non-reversed album is wonderful.

Mastering from early 2000s to early 2010s is usually dogshit, you're better off downloading a copy released in the 80s or early 90s, or waiting for a new remaster since it seems people are somewhat getting their shit together when it comes to remastering nowadays
>>60587287
I liked this album honestly
>>60587295
good track
i love Old Crow when they get really old-timey
if you like that you might like Ralph Stanley, you should try him out

i'm digging your playlist
>>60587319
I honestly feel like (most) albums should have a full listen, though there are some where it's all so generic and shitty that one sing is all you need.
>>60587469
Thanks mang. Assuming you're looking it up on Shillify, I'm always open to suggestions.
Having some old feels today
>>60586867
Listening to a mixtape I'm making for a girl n shit, I'll post what I have in a sec
>>60587537
I never was able to into AJJ. Mainly causr the only people I knew irl who liked them were two anarchistfags, one who was an ultrakek and the other was some cunt who dyed her armpit hair.

18. "Asleep" by The Smiths, but that feels almost too cliché so I might scrap it
I used to make mixtapes all the time when I was younger and spent a ton of time choosing track orders and trying to make clear distinctions between the first and second halves, trying to make tracks lead seamlessly into each other n all that. I have a couple that I still listen to to this day, and one that I actually transferred to cassette and back to digital so it had that cassette sound
Is smartphone players the new foobar or what?
>>60587974

I feel lie you could replace Asleep with
Natural Light - Sun Kil Moon
personally not a huge fan of Asleep, and as you say, a little cliche
just a thought, good luck dude
>>60588172
Thanks man!
>>60588270
Listened to it and I kinda dig it, strongly considering using it, I'm definitely getting rid of Asleep.
