I'd disagree. Demon Day's tracks were all solid. Whereas Plastic Beach had quite a few misses.

The band in general reminds me of Teen Titans.

Demon Days is considerably better. It's just far more consistent than Plastic Beach. The second half of Plastic Beach is pretty weak, whereas Demon Days maintains a pretty high standard throughout.
Plastic Beach at its best (Empire Ants, Rhinestone Eyes, Stylo) is superb, but a few tracks feel like filler to me. It's also a bit of a mess at times, and Demon Days is just more cohesive from front to back.
