they played this sunday, great show
they're such a silly group of dudes, i love how clear it is that they're just a group of friends who happen to be in a rock band together. they were cracking inside-jokes on stage and no one in the crowd understood anything. fantastic stuff
and idk how i'll do with the lightning bolt concert. i was planning on going with a friend but idk how he'll feel about possibly meeting my 4chan pals so that might get complicated kinda maybe. haven't bought tickets yet either. but yea it's on a friday

nah it's not that big but not tiny either, they might fit like 300 ppl in there. the stage is slightly elevated but not enough for you to lose contact with the band completely. seems like a decently fitting venue for lightning bolt

Yeah I'm not into bluegrass so nothing really came to mind. But maybe also check out Year of No Light and Omega Massif? I think they're some atmospheric metal if I remember correctly.
