There's a song from the late 90's or early 00's that I've been trying to remember for years. It had a dark, kinda shoegazey sound and gothy vocals. Some sort of lyrics about looking up into the sky or something. It had to have been a hit\popular because it was on the radio.
More than 10 years ago I heard this randomly, and only found it when it was advertised as part of a compilation album sometime last year.

There was this cd of hymns that our Bible camp counselors had on repeat back in 7th grade that has been haunting me ever since. All i know is i heard someone say the cd was called 'Songs from the Loft' and my favorite song started with a children's choir singing in unison "WE'VE COME TO PRAIIISE HIM (2XS) HE IS GOD (2XS) WE ARE HOLY" Call and response shit. Super catchy. Someday... i will find that shit.

Lit- My Own Worst Enemy
