This one here is pretty much the weakest Tobin's album, but when it comes to production it's the absolute fucking masterwork.

what do you consider when you talk about production? How the instruments sound? How well the sections of a song are put together? How well every layer in the song meshes up? Or if it's an ambient album, are you just talking about the songwritting in general?

How well the sections of a song are put together I guess would be more to do with songwriting, song structure and sequencing.

I don't know if this is just me, but Syro sounds better on speakers every single time. When I listen to it with headphones, nothing hits as hard. I'm guessing it's because the tracks on it started off as live sets.

Ya I meant 10/10 in terms of production. Dunno if I think it's his worst though. Maybe not his strongest album in terms of tunes. But doesn't really matter because their still isn't a bad full length Aphex Twin LP, unless you can't handle the inconsistency of Drukqs.
