which 4?
DMX
DMX
DMX
DMX
eminem, dre, 50 and snoop. Not because they're the best but I think they would work together well in a group
J. Cole, Drake, Snoop, Nas.
Call them The Sleepers.
Snoop, Kendrick, Nas, Em
Let's also do our ideals:
Lupe, Sole, Kendrick, avant garde political concept album
>>60348316
>implying any of these guys outside of Cube and Dre could work the group dynamic
wayne
biggie
dmx
nas
it has everything
>>60348384
>being this new
>>60348379
I can't really how Sole would fit into that. He's very different politically. Dude is literally an anarchist.
>>60348316
Most of these are too different and would sound terrible together
Dr. Dre
Kendrick Lamar
Snoop Dogg
Eminem
would work fine as a west coast version of Watch the Throne but still wouldn't be that good
>>60348316
Biggie
Nas
Jay-Z
Kanye (on production)
Nas
Kendrick
Kanye
Tupac
>>60348418
>implying I'm new
Seriously, can you at least try to argue against what I stated?
>>60348458
>implying i care
>>60348432
this would be boring as fuck
>>60348316
Yeezy and Drake for lyrics
50 and Dre for security
>not a single member of wu tang in OP pic
fuck you op you don't take this seriously AT ALL fuckass
might as well make the worst meme group i could
dmx snoop lil wayne drake
>>60348543
Faggot, how would be a challenge if there was already a good premade group in the bunch?
>>60348543
i also got no member for public enemy and beastie boys. so stop the bitching
drake & j cole are great assists on tracks
kanye for main producer / main lead
jay z for co-lead (as long as he isn't rapping about his fucking hublot watches every two seconds)
i know there are better choices but that feels like a modern group that could actually work and are all in the same wheelhouse creatively
>>60348488
>Dr. Dre and the people whose careers he started
They'd probably have good chemistry
>>60348316
none
thom yokre
>>60348379
pharrell, pusha t, snoop, madlib
>>60348685
>pusha t
lol
>>60348421
He supports black liberation movements pretty strongly, and has the most real political philosophy under his belt. I think he fits easier with Lupe than Kendrick, and it would make it interesting to see how they interact politically (imagine a dramatisized debate with a plot and characters a la Greek but in vernacular) assuming they all got long well enough.
Would give Sole more mainstream exposure and the other two more underground cred, it could be a cool sort of stepping stone in either direction.
Jay Z
Nas
Kanye
Biggie
3 have made great collabs in the past and Biggie cause hes the best thats not those 3
>>60348720
Yeah I suppose. I've never really listened to Kendrick much but it would he interesting to see how Lupe and Sole would interact. I could imagine Sole taking the more abstract and left-field approach and Lupe being more direct and explaining and expanding on what Sole said.
>>60348845
Maybe, Lupes last album was a lot subtler and it worker much better imo, whereas Sole has gotten more direct over the years.
Kendrick is only recently very political, and I think the main thing he could contribute is his instinct for making evocative and accessible stuff
kanye, jay-z, 50, and dre
would make objectively the best modern rap album
How about no
Thugger
Swae Lee
Travis Scott
Quavo
There are two possible answers:
>Dre
>Pac
>Kendrick
>Ice Cube/Pac (take your pick; I personally choose Ice Cube)
and
>Jay-Z
>Nas
>Biggie
>Kanye
>>60349018

2005/2010 kanye (tossup here)
2001 jay-z
1994 biggie/93 dr. dre
1994 nas
Kendrick
Tupac
