I saw Deafheaven last night and it really gave me a new appreciation for New Bermuda. The more overt metal sections work well live, and make the post-rocky stuff even sweeter by comparison.
I wish they had kept the shoegaze levels high instead of sort of phasing the sound out though.

I figured the chart was less of a "here's the essentials" and more of just "here's as much as I can link together", so I wasn't really thinking about whether or not stuff would needed to be traded, but yeah, most of the Japanese shoegaze is interchangeable I guess, just personal preference on my own part on those two artists

As for any generic shoegaze band people are chill with jsut a fuzz and reverb or whatever.
Loveless pretty much has no extra production done. The guy just wanted it to sound the way it came out the amp and for the vocals to mix in with it. It wasn't even in stereo.
