He turned 37 today.
He's my mancrush.
He seems to be so laid back about everything but at the same time he works his ass off.
I love Major Lazer and a lot of stuff he produces. It always sounds raw and outlandish, but that's what I like about it.
He isn't a great producer but he's really good at coming up with crazy stuff and pushing boundaries and lets some guys at Mad Decent finish off the song.
His knowledge and love for music is vast as well.
IMO if you'd have to ask someone where music is going, then you'd have to ask Diplo.

It was Diplo and Switch originally, but Switch left after the first album due to 'creative differences'. Now it's just Diplo. There's two Carribean guys with him, but I'm pretty sure they're just glorified hype men.
