sorta sad that white noise likes it because the new kardashev is really quite good. it's basically the deathcore version of sunbather when i think about it, it's the sort of thing that could attract a lot of people to the genre because of its very different aesthetic and mood. not much chugging, lots of reverbed tremolo leads. melodies are incredible tho

Devourment, Vulvectomy, Kraanium, Digested Flesh, and Gorevent are some of the most-respected artists in the general slam style, I tend to like more gimmicky/proggy stuff like Jenovavirus and 7H. Target though. Also check out Bodysnatch and Chordotomy, they're more melodic than the usual slam.
People will say Abominable Putridity and Katalepsy but I don't think their production works for slam, and slam is a very production-centric genre.
